Review : The Kingdom

If you’re thinking about going to see this movie, get off the computer and go see it. Or head over to your online movie ticket vendor of choice and order a ticket for a theater near you. I really enjoyed this movie, Julieanne really enjoyed watching this movie. It was intense! I have a new respect for Jenifer Garner! Jamie Fox was amazing…the whole cast was amazing. I know I know. You want to hear a more in dept review, but it’s 1 in the morning and I’m tired. Go see this movie. It’s totally worth it. This movie is TURBOULTRA.

For Scott Stare

piratearr

This is for Scott Stare.  I saw this on Digg.com to day.  It made me smile, and think of Scott.  Picture taken by Andy Carvin some where in Washington I guess. Here is the full size picture.  AARRR! Prepare to be boarded!  Pirates are cool but Ninjas rock!

Jon Neal’s Birthday

I’m digging animoto! =)

Ahhh the weeks end…

Nothing much going on out there this week.  Southern California saw just a tiny bit of rain.  Forecasts showed 3 days of fairly continuous rain even thunder showers, but reality proved differently.  Light showers one early morning and that was about it.  At least it’s the weekend now and temps seem cooler.

How to : Buy a Car

I thought this video was very informative.  I bought my car a little over a year ago and fortunately I did a lot of the things this guy said.  I felt like a jerk some of the time, but I stuck to my guns and got a pretty sweet deal on my car.  A lot of what this guy is saying is common sense stuff, but it’s good to hear.

This informational video is TURBO but not ULTRA.

DIY : Animoto Video Picture Show

I came across this little gem today.  To be honest I’m feeling a little obsolete right now.  I used to spend hours editing to create stuff like this. It seems to be a really really cool service.  Upload a couple of photos and upload a song, a couple of minutes later you have a pretty cool video.  Right now the site is running a little slow due to heavy traffic, but it looks like it’ll be cool.  For now 30 second videos (SHORTS) are free and full length videos can be purchased at $3 per video or $30/year for unlimited videos.  Check it out…

All these photos came off of my cell-phone. I’m impressed. I can say with confidence that Animoto.com is TURBOULTRA.

Jumbotron NintendoDS (not lite)

This is seriously cool. I’ve been really wanting Nintendo to make something like this for a standard TV. Okay maybe not exactly like this. I just want to play my DSlite on a bigger screen when I’m at home. Is that too much to ask for? Why can’t Nintendo make something for the Wii that will give me what they did for the GameCube and the Gameboy Advanced? Check this out though it’s pretty sweet.

More pics after the jump.

Hey Turboultra.com
The site officially launched last night. Everything is up and running. Including over 100 pictures and 400 words to use on people’s myspaces. More is constantly being added so pay attention. Also we’re all working behind the scenes to bring new innovative ideas to myspace commenting. Things like PicAudios with original songs by Jon Neal and John Lyons and artwork by Scott Shiba and Lan Pham coming in a few weeks. Great things are on the horizon and we’re all excited about it.
